Diet as a Conscious Choice

Living pHure - Diet As A Conscious Choice

Dietary considerations are important to everyone because how we function emotionally, mentally, and physically is determined by how we “fuel” our bodies. Everything we put in our mouths causes an “energy” reaction within our entire bio-energetic field. How we feel mentally and emotionally has a direct correlation to our nutritional habits—and visa versa—since proper brain and endocrine function are also dependent upon what we drink and eat.

Basically, we eat food to sustain life by oxidizing or burning it for energy and nutrients. We drink water to hydrate our bodies, ensuring balanced chemical exchanges and cellular function. All substances that we ingest fall into two categories: nutrients or something other than nutrients which we refer to as “toxins.” If a food cannot properly “fuel” our bio-energetic organism, then it must be purged by the body or stored in some fashion—usually as excess fat—by the body itself. This process requires an enormous amount of energy and, overtime, slows many of the body’s basic processes and impedes healthy cell regeneration.

The choices we make concerning our dietary habits are among our most important because the vast majority of all illnesses or chronic conditions that we experience are not happenstance. They do not “just occur.” Rather, they are consequences of poor nutritional habits and/or adverse lifestyle choices. The predisposition of certain of these illnesses may be genetically inherited, but even these must be triggered by dietary and/or other lifestyle activities. Other types of conditions may be environmentally caused.

In today’s information age, education related to diet choices is overwhelming. Information about the dietary treatment of certain “specialty” conditions such as weight loss, heart health, diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure (just to name a few) does not give us the bigger picture with regard to maintaining our overall health. This is because we are dealing with symptomatic relief rather than a causal cure. So how is it that we can establish a baseline or foundation concerning dietary selections which meet our individualized needs?

Scientific research in this regard involves the study of how foods (all types) are assimilated and otherwise processed by the blood on a cellular level.

Such approaches as the ph miracle diet as well as the blood type diet articulate individualized health with regards to the ability of one’s blood to assimilate various foods as nutrients. By combining these diets into a single lifestyle regimen, it is possible to establish an individualized nutritional baseline for each and every one of us.
